What is the Junior Board of
Directors?
The Patterson Bank Junior Board of Directors is a select group of high
school students that are brought together to expose them to a variety of
banking and business affairs. Monthly meetings are educationally
oriented with a focus on giving the students the information they will
need to be successful in the future. An emphasis is placed on community
service and fundraising projects as well. Past projects include Red
Ribbon Week, Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity, Hospice, Tabitha’s
Place (soup kitchen), and running The Patterson Bank Train during the
Christmas Holidays for children.
Who Makes Up the Junior Board of Directors?
The Junior Board is comprised of seven high school seniors each from
Pierce County High School and Wayne County High School. They are chosen
on the basis of character, integrity, academics, extracurricular
activities, and leadership qualities by leaders in each community. The
process takes place through a resume and interview process.
Since 1991 in Pierce County and 2001 in Wayne County, The Patterson Bank
has been at the leading edge in the development of these students in the
community. It is our intended goal to continue this program and
continually aid the future leaders of our area.
